Rachel

April 1st, Naturally one of Rachel's favorite things to do is maul, um, I mean hold Sarah. For the most part Sarah is pretty good natured about it and some days even enjoys it.

Rachel dressed herself today (April 11). First time completely by herself. She came downstairs and at first I thought someone had gotten her up and dressed her. No one would own up to it though and then I noticed the sweater wasn't buttoned and was on backwards, the pants I think were backwards too and the shoes were on the wrong feet. Any time she chooses her shoes, it's always the shiny Sunday shoes instead of her tennis shoes. They're not so shiny anymore. She also brought me the water bottle, comb, and a barrette (in her mouth - like I hold them when doing her hair).

She also recently got hold of the fingernail clippers. When I took them away from her, she had already managed to actually clip most of her nails! Wow, a two year old clipping her own nails.

She goes bananas when I paint my fingernails and is already waiting for me to say she's old enough to wear polish. Such a girly-girl.
